Xmas has come and gone. Today is the last day of 2006.
"Lots of things happened over the past year & lots of different emotions. Learnt quite a lot. Hope 2006 is gonna be a wonderful year"
This was what I've blogged last year. This year, lots of things happened too. Majority of which are good and happy ones. Hey, tat's a good news rite? At least 2006 is special to me.

23rd march--> Braces removed after 3 years, 5 mths & 13 days
17th may--> 1st driving lesson
30th may--> Bought my 1st 4D (shared wif sam n jiayi)
10th june--> 1st idea of having bdae party wif jiayi which didnt carry out as planned in the end
Feeling down for the 1st half of e year
5th july--> Dad's operation

22nd july--> Bid Upon A Star @ *Scape event
25th july to 27th july--> Chionging of BD Phase 2 presentation

29th aug to 3rd sep--> Went to Hong Kong with Sam, Jiayi & Huimei
12th sep--> celebrate jiayi, jingwei & my bdae at Changi Airport
13th sep to 15th sep--> SPAC2GO Yr 1 Training Camp
1st oct--> A new journey in my life
14th oct--> CIMS Competition
4th nov--> TNS 100 yrs
22nd nov to 26th sun--> 1st time alone when parents n sis went overseas
7th dec--> Passed my driving test

Hmm.. upon looking at this list, can say that after my dad's operation, my life had been a happier one. But of coz not happy 24/7. There are still times when I was feeling down. But then, no worries, coz I noe my dear & frenz are around.

I've heard from people saying that I've changed. Have I? I seriously haven realised that and again, I wan to let you noe, I didnt meant what my actions had done. As I said, I didnt realise that. But glad you told me. Thanx.

So what I hope & wish for in the coming year of 2007?

Xmas outing

Wow..it's been raining continuously for few days le. And that really kinda spoils the day of having an outing. Just came back about an hour ago from my clique xmas outing. 5pm @ Harbourfront was the time & venue we suppose to meet since we going to Vivocity for our dinner. But since me & dear early & nth to do, went there 1st to walk walk. Only then realise, is not that big la. Maybe not as big as we expected. Coz as we walked, we had walked out of vivo & into harbourfront centre. When about time, went to Carls' Junior to "chop" place 1st coz there were alot of people, plus ours is a big group.. (6 of us). Think Carls' junior had very good business for the day coz they ran out of fries!!! *sobz* So ordered Fish burger with onion rings lor. The fish burger taste somehow like McDonald's fillet o-fish. And their onion rings are huge. As expected, i couldnt finish the burger. Qunjie arrived at vivocity when we had all finished our dinner. So tobbie went to help qunjie queue up 1st since there was a long queue. But apparently, qunjie couldnt find the place so dear went to bring him there. But dear went for so long still haven come back, so sam went to find both of them. Sam went off for a long time also, in the end, she came back alone, telling us she couldnt find them. Think tobbie was feeling quite paiseh ba. Well, huimei & I felt so bad coz tobbie kept letting the people behind him to buy 1st. Coz qunjie haven arrive when it was tobbie's turn. In the end, tobbie came back becoz there wasnt any more queue. But qunjie hadnt arrive yet. Anyway, after qunjie had finished his dinner, we cleared away all the trays & start to do our gift exchange. This time round, we did some draw lots to see who are we supposed to buy for. The whole idea is that no one knows who you are going to buy for. But in the end, some of us even noe who are buying for us. We had the guys to give out their pressies 1st followed by the girls. hehe.. I bought for qunjie & jy. I dunno why qunjie is so shocked when i give him his pressie. But his look is just so funnie.. And I received presents from dear & sam. I knew it was from dear coz of some "leakages" from here & there. lolx. Anyway, thanx dear & sam. Love the pressies.

By the time we are done with all the stuffs, it was only about 7 - 7.30pm? Wanted to go outdoors but due to the bad weather, we gotta stay inside since is still early & didnt want to go back just as that. So went to Toy'R'Us to accompany Huimei to buy xmas gift for her cousins. Den went to Tangs to kill time. Finally decided to go back at about 9.30pm.

Tues--> Went for piano in e morning & meet dear at bugis for lunch & of coz not forgeting our main purpose that is to buy pressie for our class gift exchange. It was difficult to buy a pressie that is unisex. In the end, we took train to Orchard & went to takashimaya to search for more ideas. After searching for so long, decided to settle on 2 things, cup & calendar for the both of us. We were thinking perhaps we could shop for our cliques' pressie too so walked from Takashimaya to Suntec City. It was a long long walk. At least a good 45mins. By the time we reached suntec it's time for dinner le. So just had our dinner at Fish & Co. & go home le.

Fri--> Went out with class for dinner & gift exchange. Went to Suntec & had our dinner at Olio. Ambience was nice. Food was average. The pork chop I had was tough. Steak was nt tat fantastic either. Lychee drink was okie, nt as sweet as the one at Changing Appetite.

Sat--> Met dear at bugis again.. This time round to buy pressies for our clique & diana's bdae pressie. Bought 2 pressies at Bugis & went off to Marina Square coz we ran out of ideas at bugis. Bought another pressie at MS. Den really cannt liao, no more energy to continue shopping. Dear went off 1st so I went to Orchard & walked around 1st b4 meeting diana they all for dinner. So many ppl lor. As usual, I couldnt tolerate & started to flare up again. By the time I reached Cineleisure, it was 8plus liao. There is queue in every restaurant/cafe. So each of us pick one & played open numbers. We were supposed to have Pasta Mania but it was long queue.. So saw Xing Wang (Hong Kong Cafe) & went to queue instead.. It was none of our choices.. We were practically laughing all e way & Diana had trouble drinking her teh xi. Thanx to mike's interesting replies. Mike also forgetted to remind the waitress for his order for "out of stock" which cost $3.50. haha.. Coz they pasted e words "out of stock" across e name of e food but not the price. So it somehow seems tat e food name had been changed to "out of stock". Went to Heeren to take neoprints but the 3 guys, zhenglong, mike & siangwee kept running away.. we, the 3 gals (hy, diana & me) gotta escort them sia. Or else they will start to wander off.. Had so much fun taking the neoprint. Taking & designing took us abt 1hr. We were still designing even when they start to switch off the store lights. But, our long time spent at taking neoprint was worth it coz we saw 小绿豆 when we boarded train at Somerset. He was so shuai. Funny thing was, we were like looking at him, den he looked at us but none of us wanting to say "hi". Argh...Wasted. lolx.. Think zhenglong cannt stand 我们三个女人. We kept repeating, "他是帅的咯.", " 他很好看." Zheng long then asked, "other than saying 帅and好看, what else can you all say? Huiying then reply, "英俊!" Wahaha.. Zhenglong almost fainted upon her reply.

Happie Birthday Diana aka 女儿. Finally you've reached 19 yrs old le. Enjoy your last teenage year coz u will be hitting '2' next yr liao. I know wat u gonna sae after u read this. You will sae you'll be e youngest to reach the digit '2' right? lolx. Hope you like e pressie. =)

Passed Driving Test

Yesterday was the day I entered into a new part of life. The ability to drive on road legally. I passed my driving test!!! 1st time... Thanx Mr Chua & Mr Low. Test was at 11.45am but had to attend the warm-up session before that at 10.55am. Somehow, I reached BBDC super early at 10.15am. Was just practically sitting there, trying not to think. But then it was difficult coz it was raining heavily when I was there. What will happened if it still rain during my test? However, think the sky so happie that is my turn for warm-up, it decided to stop "crying". Hehe.. or rather, dear's praying did worked? Printed the slip of paper & passed it to the information counter together with my I/C & PDL. After awhile, the instructor called my name to go for the warm-up lesson. But then, that car 19 was nowhere to be found, it was not back yet. So waited lor.. I was so nervous le, still give me this kind of problem. But anyway, the warm-up was fast, didnt stike kerb or anything. One thing, I was already nervous during the warm-up. My feet right feet was shivering & couldn't control the accelerator properly. And for a moment I thought I wouldnt make it thru the test. I even thought I may back out during the last min. The instructor very good, still bring me to the waiting room where all the potential drivers are waiting to be sent to heaven or hell. Went in, tester brief us on what is going to happen then started to draw lots to see which route are we allocated to. I got route 4 which is bukit batok area. Good, coz easy to drive. I was told to go into the test car 1st after tester called my name. Went in, adjust everything, instructor came in & told me to relax & drive as per normal. He was friendly at that time. There was no bbdc cars except for those test cars in the circuit coz the time of my test was during the break time. Since that;s the case, tester test me on emergency break. It was alright. S-course, did it smoothly..*phew*. Recently scared will strike kerb. After all was done, tester asked me izzit my 1st time to take the test. He said I was nervous. Haha.. pretty obvious. Sat down with him & he told me where I went wrong. Hehe..I didnt check my blind spot properly & rear view mirror. Nervous till forget. Anyway, passed. Went for a compulsory video session. It was kinda bo liao la. Took photo & went to apply for my driving licence. Yeah.. end of my trip to BBDC...

Went back for BD & B2B tutorial. It was presentation during tutorial for 2 grps. Mine is next week. Looking at the Q&A session, I think we are gonna be dead next week. But nvm, we shall see how.

Window Display

After all the effort, our main window display is finally done.

The final display is so much different from our original idea. 360 degrees change. Our very first idea's theme was "rebellious". But then rejected by Ms Mila Lim coz it has to tie in with Christmas. So change to an idea where we gonna have a cabin, a guy will give his gf a xmas gift which is the bike. There will be a xmas tree inside the cabin. People can see the tree thru a window of the cabin. Becoz of some hiccups here & there, we gotta change idea somehow & we have our final display up as shown above. For eg, the bike which was suppose to be on the ground, is now flying in the air. We've been missing classes, getting up very early in the morning, going home very late for the past week.

Let's see.... Spent my whole tuesday in school, since retail place gotta be closed at 5.30pm, we moved to my clubroom to do the rest of the props. Tuesday was a dead tired day for me. Spent the afternoon cutting up styrofoam board, pasting them, making sure they are nicely cut up, etc...Evening, went to buy more styrofoam boards with weekiat while zheng min & boon ee was discussing their b2b proj with their grpmates. There wasnt any "leng chang" when we went to buy styrofoam boards though. *phew* but i cant rmb wat we talked about either. All the rushing of getting equipments, buying dinner made us real shagged. We didnt even noe for a moment wat was "Ice Mountain".

Got up very early on wednesday coz suppose to go find mila lim at 7.45am to get keys from her but she wasnt ard. Argh...waste my time.. i could have slept more...Went home late again on wed. Thursday, only attended law lecture, the rest of the time was doing retail. Had fun making "snow" on the mountains with zm, but i hate pasting those cotton wools. Coz those stuffs made our nose damn itchy. Terrible feeling. But wk, zm & I had quite a fun time though. Talking about er lang shen & etc. Zm did mention this proj is like a bonding session. Well, i agree coz thru this proj, i get to tok to zm n wk more. After the backdrop was done, we got extra help to help us carry our backdrop from my clubroom back to retail place. There was dear, bear, wk, mi, sam, jy, zm, hm, tobs, be. Backdrop was splitted into the drawing & board.

Friday, reached sch at 7.45am again. The last day to finish up our display. And we have barely done anything to it. To make it worse, we were nt sure how to hand our backdrop. Quickly printed the door, & pasted them on the wall with sam while wk was trying all means in making sure that the drawing stays onto the styrofoam board. He "ransack" the retail lab & used staplers, pins to secure it. And woohoo... The pins worked!!! yeah... When tat's done, sam, wk & I carried the board & put it into position. Thanx zm for the "tang yuan".. We also had extra help from dear & tobs for hanging the black cloth.

Thanx dear for helping us with the retail though is not ur elective. Like wat zm said, u seems to be like part of our grp liao. Went to Esplanade with dear on our 2nd mth & it was crowded. Couldnt find a place to sit down so in the end, walked to Merlion Park & set on the steps. I had a great time with my dear.
