Sis will be flying off to Beijing with her school tml. Flight at about 8plus am & gotta reach airport about 6.30am. 1st time sis flying alone without family. Will she cry? Will mum cry? Will I cry? Haha.. She brought like lots of clothes la. One whole big luggage filled. But one side was filled with gifts for the Beijing teachers, her beijing partner (Zhang Xu) & another 2 beijing frenz.

Mum & dad very worried for her also. Kept telling her what to do, where are all the stuffs, etc. Really scared she will forget her stuffs sia.. Later happy over another thing, her things with her will just put one side & forget. Well, hope sis learn to be more independent & get rid of her bad habit.

We received the news from Zhang Xu's mum that Kaiying's (Sis's good fren) beijing partner, Shuyan, is down with some virus. As such, Shuyan's family cant host Kaiying. The Beijing school's policy is to approach teachers 1st if such case happen & such a coincident, Zhang Xu's mum is one of the teacher in that Beijing school. She agreed to help host Kaiying. Yeah.. Sis will be with her good fren. Like tat not so scared as well. Another good thing is also Kaiying can help sis's translate the chinese to english & vice versa. Sis's chinese really...cannt make it la. Kept reminding sis not to keep sticking to Kaiying & neglect Zhang Xu.

After sending sis off in the morning, tml night will send mum & dad off. Den 四姨 will come & spend the night with me. She kept asking me if need her to accompany me on rest of the days as well. But then she gotta work, dun wanna trouble her coz she need to bring lots of stuffs over. Know she wanna spend time with me as well. So maybe one of the weekdays will go stay with her. Hehe.. Suddenly mum also like so worry about me staying at home alone. Not the 1st time ma. Last yr, she also not so worried. This time, so naggy.. Then she said scared I faint at home coz of my fall on the escalator. Dotz.. Not that serious la. Anyway, hope mum, dad & sis enjoy for the rest of the week in Beijing.

Went early to school today to try out the food at SIM. Ya.. I know, school had started for almost a month & we haven been there before. But the timing just not right ma. Not like we have breaks in between. So decided to go to Mega Bites since quite alot of ppl said the pasta there is nice. So jas, liyana & I went in. When we were about to go & find seats, one of the staff stop us & say, "Wait, take card". We were blur, didnt noe to wait for them to give us card or to take out our sim card. Waited for quite awhile so decided to take out our sim card as well (we thought they wanna make sure we are sim students or sth) They gave us card & the staff told another staff, "They are new here, explain to them." ............ So embarrassing la. Anyway, the system works just like Marche. Settled down & we went to look at the menu for Pasta. Tried the Pasta in Mushroom cream for $3.90. The sauce taste weird. Too creamy. Like drinking milk. The mushrooms are huge. Slack slack awhile & went for our class. Attending sociology class is like so stress lor. Stress she will call us & answer questions coz we dunno what she asking. Then her answers sometimes dun answer her own questions. So everytime she's facing us, we will look down at our notes & pretend to be seriously writing down notes or flipping through it to find answers. Others do the same too (not all though).

The blue-blacks on my leg are still there. Some had change to a different colour. But they are still there. When are they going to disappear? I've been wearing pants which are long enough to cover them.

I was on my way home when I overheard a girl telling another girl something.

Girl A: Yesterday was talking to someone & talked about the generation before us, their wedding rings are gold. Our generation is silver. Then she asked what about the generation after us? I said bronze lor. Then the following generation will use metal, following use plastic, soil, liquid, etc.

I was thinking they can actually think of such issues regarding rings. & was wondering how the wedding couple gonna wear a ring that is liquid?

Think the girl read my mind or sth coz she said, "Liquid how to wear? Just put in the freezer lor."

I was thinking again, so is the wedding couple gonna stay in a freezer or somewhere that is cold enough to make sure that the frozen ring won't melt? Just wonder....

Today's lecture was boring. Dunno why I just find the time pass so slowly today. Anyway, now jas, liyana & I have the tofus on our hps.. lolx. And liyana call ourselves the tofu girls. Jas's is pink, liyana's blue & mine yellow. It so happens that all the owners wore & have sth they own which matches their tofus. Jas's pink pencil case, liyana's blue dress & my yellow top.

My leg no longer have 8 stripes, the red lines are gone & now left the cuts which are kinda scattered. Now no more nice cuts.. They are ugly now. Sobz sobz. Anyway, ytd & today I had been covering my cuts with those transparent plastic bags so that water wont touch it continuously while I bathe. So when I'm done with bathing, I took plastic bag out & clean the cuts. Like that it wont hurt that long.

Today really so suay sia. It's been 2yrs since my last bad fall. Ya.. This time round, I hurt myself on the escalator. Yes.. A going to be 20 yr old actually can injured herself on the escalator. You usually only hear ppl say children (below 12yrs) do so. I also didnt know why I fell. My mum & I were taking the escalator down to level 1 of OG Orchard. All of sudden, I just slip, lose balance & there I am, half kneeling, half squating, whatever the position was. Think I wasnt standing properly. Coz I like to have one foot hanging infront of me or somehow I just balance on just one foot. (I cant keep still unless the escalator is crowded) Lucky my mum was infront of me to support, or else I'll roll down the escalator & will be in hospital now. Another lucky thing was, not many ppl around. Only the 2 of us were on the escalator & nobody was near us. So there was no stares or laughter. Mum quickly squat down & look at my leg while I was trying to stop her coz later ppl come & see. Leg felt numb initially after the fall. After which, no pain unless I touch. My beautiful leg now have lots of scratches & I mean alot. There are about 8 red/pink long & short lines, one small cut where the blood flow out. All these covered about 3 quarter of the upper side of my leg.

Told Diana then she was like, "Aiyo! How come? Put medicated oil or else later got scar liao." Sis just gave me those, "Oh.. Eee.." look & that's it. Dad as usual, "How come can fall down on escalator? *shakes head*" Dear reaction was coughing coz he choke or sth then, "Huh? How come fall down on escalator? Eee.. Dun eat black black stuffs or else have scars, apply medicated oil." Told dad that I told dear about it, then dad's 1st reaction was, "he never ask why you fall ah? You never say coz see boys?" Dotz.. no boys to see la. hehe..

Anyway, I still think the cuts were rather nice. (still can think the injury nice..siao) Well, nice in the sense that injury coz it's so neat.

Great.. Econs over too.. So happy coz the questions came out exactly the same as the one lecturer gave us. Shld be able to pass.. Results out on the 3rd Sep. This time round, didnt stay in the exam hall for full 3hrs. Exam started at 7pm. I completed the paper at about 8pm. But decided to stay on to check over & over again. Finally at about 8.40pm, I decided to submit my paper. Yay...

Went to watch Rush Hour 3 just now at Tampines Mall. Finally. I just love the show by Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker in Rush Hour. They never failed to make me laugh. Dear came over to my place today (after the few book outs he had, this e 1st time). Mum, dad & sis saw him. Mum laughed immediately when she saw him. Sis just went, "Hello Botak Man". Dad was as per normal.

Mum got her medical report ytd. She went for a full body medical check up. Everything was fine just that her cholestrol is slightly high & there is a cyst of 1.7cm in her right ovary. The doctor told my mum to make an appointment with the gynae in 3 mth's time. Gosh... What is that cyst doing in my mum's ovary? 1.7cm is like big right?

I'm going for the Econs paper in few hrs time. Gosh. This is much more scarier than maths la. He oni gave us few egs of the questions, practice also oni practice the few. I only study the tips he gave. We all trust him, he better not lie to us. He even told us to memorise the models. Dunno how to read english nvm, just rmb the models will do. Pray hard for later...

Yeah.. Bridging Maths is over! The grand hall is cold lor. The 1st place which I think is really cold till I need to wear jacket in SIM. In fact so cold till my fingers turn purple. The grand hall is divided into 2 sections, full-time & part-time. Lynette, Liyana & I thought they were refering to the courses we are going to study at SIM for 2yrs. So we happily go find our seats. But no. They were refering to our Bridging Maths. Dotz.. So we gotta shift place to another side where the part-time students are supposed to be. So now then I know Bridging also have full-time & part-time de. Anyway, some of the questions were exactly from our notes, the figures didnt change. The paper was alright, just hope no careless mistake being made by me. Section B(choose 2 out of 3), we only knew what were the questions for the 1st 2 questions. Last qn was suppose to be a SURPRISE!! 1st question was integration. Hell.. I look at it, my mind totally blank sia. For a moment, I didnt noe how to do a single question at all. So flip to the last qn, the SURPRISE question was actually matrix qn which we had done before. Phew. Moreover, it cost 17 marks. I know I can do, so might as well, grab hold of the sure 17marks den risk the whole integration qns. Lynette & Liyana also did the same thing. All suddenly dunno how to do integration. lolx. Anyway, the exam ended at 1pm. Clashed with our Sociology class. Waited till about 1.30pm, break time then we go in. Boring.. Luckily nv go thru tutorial coz didnt do it. Hehe. Alright, left Econs paper to go. Hope it's just like maths, not tough. =)

Happy Belated Birthday Singapore. Mum & Dad wanted to see the fireworks so we took a train down to Cityhall. Sis's ez-link was spoilt somehow. Even she didnt noe. So bought the single trip card for her. Reached Cityhall at about 4.30pm, very crowded (expected), bought sis's return single trip card 1st coz it will definitely be jam-packed after the parade. Walked towards Esplanade, the entrance was blocked, we were told to go to another side. Came out & was standing at the walkway opposite esplanade (padang side). It was packed. People started to cross over the barrier, walking on the road. Police came & stopped, chase everyone out, chase them to another side. We? Just stood at the barrier coz we knew we will be pushed back to original spot again. Weather was good. No sun, no rain, lots of wind. More & more ppl came. Being at our positions, we could only see the parachutes, apache, national flag fly past, the jelly-liked balloons & of coz not forgeting the fireworks. Everyone were so excited, cheering, clapping. And we got quite a good spot. Fireworks directly infront of us, 1st time in my life so up close with the big National flag flying past. We left at about 8plus or 9pm? The squeezing. Gosh. You dun even haf to walk, ppl just push u. Damn hot la. We werent even sweating for the few hrs we stood while waiting for the fireworks. We were one of the 1st few to reach home ba.

Ytd had dinner with 大伯 & his family & his fren at Geylang. Dunno for wat reason also, so just go lor. After dinner, we da bao 豆花, recommended by the fren. I usually dont eat it de but had a good time eating it. Hehe. Dad is organizing for the "Ng" families to have a vacation together on a cruise during December since my aunt is in Singapore during that period. We are supposed to depart on the 2nd Dec & arrive on the 5th Dec. So far only my 大伯, my aunt, & my family confirmed going. 三叔 said ok but is still trying to schedule his time, so dunno he confirm going not. Actually my family nt very confirm as well coz I'm not sure if I have test on 4th Dec & my sis not sure whether her guzheng exam will so happen to fall on the day we depart. So pray hard ba.

Dear went to field camp today le & will be back on Thurs afternoon. About 5.5 days total no contact with him. Summore he go during 7th month. Hope he will be fine throughout these few days.

It's the 2nd week of school, but didnt really felt like it coz I went to school for only 3 lessons. Plus for this month, only have 2 modules, so is like only attending 6hrs of sch per week? 1st day of school was exciting coz 1st day study in Uni. Meet Jasmine & Liyana at SIM bus stop before we go look for our class. We chose the same classes. No familiar faces for Sociology class except for one person, "maomao". On the other hand, many familiar faces in Accounting class. Quite a few from my bridging course but den I no none of them. Xiuxia (one of my sec schmate) was in that class too. Principles of Sociology & Principles of Accounting. Sociology was well... boring. Think those sociologists have nothing better to do, think too much, den now we must study this & learn how not to use "commonsense". Accounting, well only attended the 1st lecture. Wondered why we are not exempted from it coz it's almost the same as what we studied in poly. Hmm.. see how lor, maybe is that different ba.

Since school had started, it also meant that my bridging course had ended. Yeah!! No more travelling to school in the evening. No more squeezing into bus 74 at Dover. No more reaching home that late at night alone. No more that frequent scaring myself with those cats & stuffs. Yeah.. But then going for the bridging exams in less than a week's time. Maths on Tues & Econs on Thurs. Lecturers had given us tips & the tips were the best tips I've ever received. Shld be able to pass.... hopefully.

Last sunday, I did sth which I haven done in a long time. To wake up early in the morning to exercise. National Heart Centre had its annual walkathon on 29th July. So dad, being their patient, signed up for it. And he signed up for my mum, myself & sis too. I didnt noe till like a week before the event. Duh.. go lor. Woke up about 6am? On a Sunday morning leh! Sunday!!! Had a quick bite before we head to East Coast Park. About 300 ppl were there. Started at 8am & the whole event ended just before lunch. We were given a choice of walking for 4km, 6km or 8km. Mum & Sis insist to walk for only 6km. So 6km. Dad kept ji siao me. He said, "Wah, u so early come exercise ah. Sure not? Got tell jingwei? Did he laugh?" Dotz... ya la, I noe I wont wake up so early to do such things de. Bleah..

Dad turned 50 on 31st July. Just had a simple dinner at Sakae Sushi at Eastpoint. Btw, we were shopping for some daily necessities at NTUC. Mum & I were paying at the Cashier. Dad & sis came then the cashier suddenly asked my mum whether dad is 60yrs & above. *faint* Coz NTUC have this promotion, ppl who are aged 60yrs & above are entitled to some discounts. When dad know about this, he said, "Wah.. Cham liao la. I only 50 yrs old, ppl think I 60 yrs old already." Haha.. Came home & cut the cake. Took photos & there was one where all of us were to make funny faces. See the faces of my parents, really want to laugh. Never see them make funny faces before ma. We also very funny, we purposely set timer to take a pic of our whole family blowing the candles. But while waiting for the camera to snap, the waiting & posing for the picture was just too amusing that we were giggling as well.

Dear was so sick last week that he was given 3days mc. Fever, cough, diarrhoea. Went over to his place the next day to take a look at him & pei him. By then his fever had subsided but still having cough. The following day, went to his place awhile after my lesson to take something from him. Sekali, he was so weak. Had diarrhoea 4 times. He had to book in like few hrs time. So weak how to go? But den still gotta go. Dinner only eat abit then he said he feel like vomitting already. He went for his book in & I for my briding lesson. I kept thinking will he faint or anything. But ya, at night, he called & said he was feeling better already. Phew..

I am going to be home alone in the 1st week for Sep. Sis is going for her China Exchange Programme & my parents are following as well. Their plan is to take a look at the school, have a dinner with sis's beijing partner & her family. They 不放心 also la. 1st time sis travel alone. Well, take it as a 2nd honeymoon for dad & mum also lor. It's their 1st time to travel alone, just the 2 of them since they have me & my sis. Let them enjoy also lor, afterall they wanted to visit China so much. My 大伯 also very nice to help my parents to book hotel, arranged for a driver to drive my parents around during their stay in Beijing. He's always so helpful & generous la. Ya, so I'm so gonna be home alone for a week. Though the other time my family went to Msia & I was left alone at home, there was still dear to pei mi. But this time round, no more dear to pei mi as well. He still say, "Who ask your sister the programme dun wan 1 week later?" (Coz by then he POP & he gonna be free for at least a week). I replied, "School holiday set to be 1st week of Sep de ma. Den who ask you your POP dun wan to be 1 week earlier?" Hehe.
