I've started work & changed job since last thursday. Working as receptionist at SCB, plaza by the park. It was very boring. Half the time I had nothing to do, stare in the blank. My colleague kept asking me to lok at the things she like online, lunch always packed in. Cannt go out with colleagues as one of us have to mend the counter, and I didnt get the chance to know the rest of the people at SCB. My boss told me on my 1st day that he would probably transfer me to do admin. I was so happy cause didnt want to do receptionist. On Friday, I was asked to do admin. But I wasnt happy. The environment is so dead. Everyone is in their own world. Office like warehouse. So different from DBS. DBS was so lively, fun, lots of chatting with almost everybody from different dept. I really didnt like SCB admin environment so was thinking to go back to recep. Well, I went back to do receptionist on Mon & Tues. I really dread in going to work. Didnt have that feeling when I was in DBS. Really wish to quit. Took leave on Wed to register for my class. Afternoon, my agent called me.

Agent: "Hey, I have a job at Tampines lehz. U when last day ah?"
Me: "Huh? last day? I haven say I want to quit leh."
Agent: "Izzit? Your boss sent me an email saying that he dont need temp staff from 19th june onwards. Eh.. like that today ur last day leh."
Me: *SHOCKED* "Serious? He didnt mention anything about it."

That is seriously shocking. But in anycase, I went down for interview for the Tampines SCB job. The boss told me that I would most prob need to do OT, cannot anyhow take leave. I took up the job coz the pay is good & very near my place.

1st day of work, I reached there at about 8.15am. But nobody was there till 8.30am when my boss came to open door. Almost everyone came late. My boss gave one of the staff a list of things to teach me. The moment the staff took, look, she dump it on one side. Told me she'll teach me later. So I was basically doing nothing for 2 over hrs. Really didnt know what to do. I cant access to computer, cannot go out coz dun have pass, not nice to keep borrowing from them either. So I just started to write down what I wanted to blog & smsing. Finally the girl started to teach me. She was so fast and the things to learn is so tough!!! Is very complicated la for me. Big boss bought pizza for all of us, so lunch was in. The environment at tampines scb is just like PBTP SCB. Very dead!!! Everybody doing their own things, no talking. The moment they talk is about work. They are always rushing for time as well. I cant imagine how the perm staff actually survive it. Ytd, another new temp came. Lucky got her sia, can pei me talk & lunch. She said that she felt like she was in jail for one day. If got a choice, I would want to change job. But the pay & location is really good for me. Guess, I'll just stick on to this till as long as I can. Now, I'm looking forward to weekends coz that's the time I can get away from the total lifeless work place. How i wish can go back to DBS.

Congrats to Terence & Fannie. 2 days ago was dear's sis & bf ROM. Instead of the normal ROM at Fort Canning area, they held it at Furama Riverfront, something different. By the time we reached there, Fannie was already fully dressed up, ready to welcome the guests. Gave her & Terence the couple bear that dear & I had made for them at Build-a-Bear. Hope you like it.

Seeing the empty chairs at the reception table, dear & I sat down & became in-charge of the guestbook & doorgifts.

Their 3 youngest cousins were in-charge of throwing the flower petals, carry the pillow of rings. So cute.

Then came the solemnisation. It was my 1st time witnessing. Feel of joy, happy for them.

After the solemnisation, it was just eating, photo taking session. I think their cousins are all wild & fun, very close, age about the same, that's why it was fun for them being together, coming up with different ideas for photos. My cousins?? Either age gap too wide or not close.

Went back to his place, had the leftover food from the event for dinner. Typical singaporean = packed all the unfinished food.

It has been a week since I last seen my notes & books. Exams over. Cheers.. Now looking for job since I will be having 3mths of holiday. Been very lazy to update my blog.

After my last paper, didnt make any plans so head back home & tidy up my messy files, notes books, which are piling high up, blocking sunlight coming into my room.

I cant really remember which are things i did on which day. Went to san yi house to take something so had packed lunch at her place. Cheryl (my niece) is still the same. Always with her head facing low, angry eyes, mouth & hands on her hips. Mum, sis & I talk to her, no use. When san yi finally tell her cannot misbehave, she cried. *faint* Didnt do anything to her!!! After awhile, she's alright, want to play us but refuse to talk to us. Only use hand actions. But through phone, she yada-yada non stop & i dun understand a single thing she says. haha..

My mum decided to have my previous maths tutors (Andrew & David) to tutor sis. Mum called Andrew & he still remember us. The other day, I followed my mum send sis to maths tuition, so I can show my face to the tutors. I'm surprised myself that they had extended the tuition room, no longer teaching in the dining & living area. When Andrew saw me, he was shocked. 1st thing he said was, "Wah.. so big already." I left tuition after my O levels. I dont think I've grown since then also lehz. But look wise, definitely change. I look so toot in the past. I'm really sure why but I find Andrew a little different. Got a mixture feeling, like I know him for a long time but at the same time somebody new. I really know him for quite some time cause I joined the tuition when I was in P3. He & his dad always say they watched me grow up which is kinda true. Anyway, I didnt manage to see David cause think he was still resting. He's already 70 yrs old but still standing strong, teaching, going to gym.

I helped mum to shift sis's study table from the study room to the music room because mum said sis dont want to study in the study room alone. Well, so shift the guzheng out to make room for the study table. We 2 ladies had a tough time shifting the table out, being it so heavy & the gadgets here & there. The next day, my back ache. As though, the bone will break, so didnt dare to do any tough job that day.

Friday, went to IKEA wanting to buy shelves to put in the study room. Ya, we cleared one study table, in the end, buy more things to put inside the study room. But then, the shelve we wanted was temporarily out of stock & will only be in the following day. So went back on Saturday to pick up the shelve, 2 doors for the shelve, 1 chair, 1 floor mat. Since dad had his operation, mum & I always the ones who do all the heavy duty stuffs. Carried the heavy parts of shelve, doors. My mum & sis were crazy. Sis sat on the box & mum stood on the trolley. I had to push them around & to the cashier. Best of all, all the things were blocking my view so I had to peep abit here & there to make sure I dont hit anything.

Had lunch at Vivo Food Republic with family then dear came to meet us. I bought my bead craft. Cant wait to start making. Dinner at Marche. Not much variety & very cramp. Send dear back & went home.

Met up with Diana, Zheng Long & Fiona ytd for lunch & kbox session. It was Fiona's bdae. Before we head to Kbox, diana & I went to buy a slice of raspberry chessecake from Secret Recipe for Fiona. After which, we separated. I went to meet my family & ah ma at East Coast Park Sushi Tei for dinner. It's the 3rd time I had that for consecutive 3 weeks. 1st one was when I met up with the royal clique. 2nd with family & yi yi.

Yep, I cut my fringe. I'm bored of my hairstyle, especially my fringe so decided to cut it. Afterall, the last time I had short fringe was 11years ago? I didnt expect it to be so short but well, I like it anyway.

Today, repacked my shelves to make space for my next academic year notes. Time to get back to my games. =)
