I dunno why but recently I'm starting to get scared of guys. Dunno is becoz of after tat incident met on bus. But I'm much more cautious of men on train & bus. Now that I'm attending bridging course, my lessons end at 10pm, which means I only reached simei about 1o plus or 11pm. Walking home is getting scarier if there's a guy walking behind me. Just the other day, I heard one guy coughing & I dunno why I have the idea of him being drunk. But ya, he was not. When reaching the small gate of my condo, I scared got rat suddenly rush out coz it happened before. When at my blk downstairs & walking to take the lift, I scared got cat appearing halfway through some holes, follow me home. Recently haven been having good slp as well, lie on the bed for an hr before I actually enter into dreamland. Dunno why. Dreamland, ya.. really weird dream land. Cant rmb all of them but I find one of it really weird. I dreamt that my 'Go!' Card broke into 2. Dotz..

I went for my piano practical grade 7 exam & I'm gonna fail. Nothing much else to say.

Finally dear came back on friday. To Zheng Long, Alvin, Tobbie & Dear, welcome back to the civilian world for these 1/2 day(s). Hehe.. Today went out with dear. Basically just accompanied him to Beach Road to buy all the stuffs he need. 1st time there & i didnt noe there were so many shops selling army stuffs & it was crowded. Crowded with botaks. haha.. Had dinner with dear & his mum at Taman Jurong Food Centre. Fetched his mum back & made it just in time for our 7.10pm "The Simpsons Movie". It was a very short movie which I thought wasnt really worth it. It may be funny but that's all it is. No storyline. And there's this man in the cinema kept laughing very loudly & talked to himself. Lucky nv sit beside him. Once again, dear & his mum fetched me back home. Think some of the NS guys are falling sick or are already sick. So you guys take care ok? Know not well already dun anyhow eat/drink. Wait till you all well den still can eat the "junk" food/drinks de. I'm not just targeting on dear but to the rest of guys also. Anyway, I cant wait to see you guys. or rather your face & head. When I saw dear today, he was in his cap initially. I think he look like school kid. I laughed. When he took off his cap, I laughed again. Actually not that amusing but just all of sudden see the change den find it interesting? very spiky. nice to touch. Dear became more muscular & slightly bigger size le. But he seems to be sad about it coz he dun wish himself to become bigger size. Dear dun sad la, it doesnt looks bad la. =)

As I mentioned in my previous entry, we had a guest from beijing at our house for a week. Yesterday, all the 26 Tao Nan Students, their families & their 26 Beijing partners, had a farewell dinner in Tao Nan School. Programmes for the night was:

1) Farewell speeches from Mr Tan (TNS Principal), 杨老师 from Beijing and some students from Spore & Beijing;
2) Programmes prepared by the 26pairs of students
3) Programmes performed by Beijing students

Let me just recap what happened from the day the Beijing students arrived.

13th July (Fri)
All of us were in school by 9pm. Students were told to have a rehearsal of the gift exchanged ceremony and that the Beijing students will reached TNS by 10pm. However, their flight got delayed & only landed Singapore at about 10pm. It was estimated that they will reach by 10.45pm but only & finally appeared at TNS at about 11.30pm. All TNS students & parents were so "gan jiong". My sis kept asking me whether he hair was messy. haha.. When the students arrived, we were like guessing which one was Zhang Xu (my sis's partner). Come to gift exchange ceremony, some students forget certain things they supposed to do in the end it was such a funnie scene. It came to an end, brought Zhang Xu home with us. Her luggage is so small lor.. School bag size & is not heavy de. Helped her to call back home. She bathed then my mum helped her to blow her hair. Everything was alright.

14th July (Sat)
Morning, sis having tuition so dad & mum brought Zhang Xu to Changi Beach to take some pictures of the aeroplane. Lunch brought her to Old Airport Road. Had "Cha Kuey Tiao", Lor Mee, Carrot Cake & Sugar Cane drink. She love them all. She was tired so send her home to rest. Later on, since my sis gotta go for the National Day Preview, TNS brought the Beijing students to East Coast Park & had a small barbeque session in school.

15th July (Sun)
Morning, all of us plus Kai Ying (my sis's fren) & her partner (Shu Yan) went to Sentosa. Kai Ying's mum wasnt free so "dom bang" the 2 girls to us. Drove in to Beach carpark, bought tickets for "Songs of the Sea". Took the Luge & Sky ride. It was fun... The kids enjoyed it so much. Took the blue line bus to Underwater World. Saw some TNS & Beijing kids over there. Had lunch & proceed off to Merlion Walk. Took cable car from Sentosa to Mount Faber & drop off at Harbourfront. Had a rest at Food Republic, shopped at MiniToons then took the Sentosa Express back to Sentosa for the "Songs of the Sea". Want to let the kids experience the different rides. Finally, it was done for the day. Fetched Kai Ying & Shu Yan back & went home.

16th July (Mon)
The kids went to school. Afternoon school have programs for them. Came back, they went for swimming. Dad & Mum brought sis & Zhang Xu to "Din Tai Fung" at Tampines Mall. I was having lesson so couldnt make it.

17th July (Tues)
The kids went to school. Afternoon school have programs for them. Tuesday was the only night I'm free so brought her to Bugis Village & Parco. She bought some stuffs from Parco gift shops & took neoprints with my sis.

18th July (Wed)
The kids went to school. They were dismissed at 1.30pm. Dad took the day off & brought all of us to Maxwell Market for the Hainanese Chicken rice. After which, we went to Victoria Theatre, Singapore River, Esplanade, Merlion Park, Fullerton Hotel. Went to Ah Ma house next coz dad suggested to bring her to a different type of house. From there, they went to Night Safari & I to SIM.

19th July (Thurs)
The kids went to school. Afternoon school have programs for them. They had Pizza for dinner & durian for dessert. These 2 were requested by Zhang Xu. In the end, she only took a bite of the durian. She said it was bitter, different from the one she ate the other time. Dotz... I had lessons that night too...

20th July (Fri)
The kids went to school. Lunch was Katong Laksa & Nasi Lemak. Then sis & Zhang Xu went to Kai Ying's house to practise for their performance in the evening. Dad & I came back home 1st to burn all the video recordings dad did for the past few days & pictures taken. Sis & Zhang Xu came back, everything was so rush. Bathed, packed. Gave her extra bag coz her "School bag" wasnt big enuff.. Drove them to school at 5pm. Dad & I went to Parkway Parade to buy "Bak Kua" for her. Went back school, and the dinner & programmes began. The performances were good & interesting. Stories, Singing, skits, magic tricks were all done. Come to speeches, some got emotional & began to cry. Partly becoz of the sad songs they played. Song caused the "rain". There's this Beijing boy who was saying his speech halfway & burst into tears. Some parents cried, teachers cried. My mum cried too. Me? 我忍. Tears were in my eyes. Dunno y also.. Muz be the song & speeches la.. Helped them carry the luggages up to the bus, they were still crying. We quickly left school & went to Changi Airport to send them off. Thought we are the only few. In the end, almost everyone went to send them off. By the time they reached, things were back to normal. No more rain. 雨过天晴. Can see that all were so reluctant to leave. Kept waving, holding hands, looking back. But funny thing is that, when my mum asked the TNS students whether they are looking forward to Sep (when they go to Beijing), 3/4 said they are not looking forward. Anyway, Zhang Xu called this morning (my mum ask her to do so). At least she reached safely. Tink my mum also abit bu she de. Ytd while waving, she kept saying to me, "she like dun care about me, nv want to wave to me." Haha..

Anyway, is a nice experience. Not only for the kids but for us as well. Oh ya.. wan to mention some things. Zhang Xu was saying what my sis study for chinese now is what Zhang Xu studied in Primary 1. She's very matured thinking, very straight-forward as well..
She said:

My Mum is 狡猾的狐狸
Sis is 小狐狸
I am 小母猪
My Dad is 善良的

Some parents were shocked by her behaviour & attitude. But ya, glad it was only for a week. If 2 weeks, think it will be chaotic liao.

Had my 1st & only visit to Tekong ytd, to send dear off. Yep, his turn had come to join the army & learn how to become a man & protect Singapore. Took the shuttle bus from Pasir Ris to SAF Ferry Terminal. Machiam like go for holiday. They took our i/c, scan it so that we could proceed on to take the ferry. I forgot something on the way there, coz alex did mention that there were some words there which was rather meaningful, I have forgotten to keep a look out for there. I'm not very sure which were those words that he mentioned but I did see one which was something like, "It's not what you leave behind, it's what you gain......" (cant rmb). We were separated for a short while just as we reached the island. Not that run-down, chalet-liked. The enlistees went up to an area where they learn some stuffs, while the rest of us were brought for a tour. Saw the POP grad area, obstacles, medical centre, bunks, toilets, recreational room (which i dun think they have a chance to use), introduced to what are the things inside their big big bags. It wasnt that bad la, just hope dear able to adapt to it soon & well. Later on we were lead to the auditorium where we get to witness oath-taking ceremony. Think we were quite taken aback when the enlistees replied their 2nd CO "Yes Sir!" in unison. It was like "wow" to me. Coz I was imagining dear, zheng long & alvin doing that too. 2nd CO also promised the enlistees parents that all activities will be stopped by 9.30pm yesterday so that they can call back & report safety. He also said, "Call parents 1st ah.. not gfs. Gfs, if the enlistees call you, make sure they call their parents 1st." That is so funny la. After which, we had lunch with dear before we bid goodbye to him. Food was alright just that the rice kinda hard. rice with broccoli, bake beans, fried chicken, potatos and a bowl of soup.. and also an apple.. Didnt take the apple coz I noe i sure cant finish. Didnt dare to say so much to dear while we walking towards the ferry coz sure bu she de & scared I cry. So quickly say bye and turn away le.

The day before yesterday, I went to dear's house for awhile to help him pack & pei him for the last day before he enlists. See dear so worried about so many things as he going to join NS makes feel kinda helpless. Dunno how to comfort him also. But glad he managed to set a good mindset about NS. Just hope that he can go through it smoothly.

He didnt manage to call me ytd but did send sms to report safety. And I'm so surprised to receive smses from him this morning too. He was attending some lecture. Won't get to see him till 2 weeks later. 2 weeks, very fast will pass de (*comforting myself*). Won't be able to sms with him that often, will get use to it soon de. The 1st 7 days can de coz my sis's beijing partner came ytd & will stay for a week. After which, left 7 days. Can de. =) Missing you..

Sis's beijing partner--> Tao Nan School having this student exchange programme. This month, Hangzhou & Beijing students coming over to stay at the Tao Nan student's house for a week. The Beijing students arrived at Tao Nan School ytd at about 11.30pm. There was a mini gift exchange ceremony, introducing of the students from both countries. Follow everywhere they go. It was kinda weird ytd coz a stranger in your house, have to be responsible of the child's safety & everything. Gosh.. Hope everything will go smoothly & that my sis & her beijing fren, (Zhang Xu) will enjoy.

Watched "High School Musical" movie few months back. Found this statement made by one of the cast in the show very interesting.

Do you remember in kindergarten, how you'd meet a kid, and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you'd be playing like you were best friends, because you didn't have to be anyone but yourself?

Well, do you guys remember? I bet you all don't. I myself cant rmb. I mean, at the age of 5 or 6, how many of us can actually remember the things that happened then. But I got to admit that the statement is so true. When you were young, you wouldn't care about how you behave when you play with or get to know a person. As you grow older, you meet the world, you become more self-conscious. I dunno about the rest but as far as I can remember, I haven been the real me for quite some time. So long that I'm not even sure which is the real me. I could be a person with this group of ppl, another person with another group of ppl, 3rd person with my family, etc. Don't ask me why, but it just happens. I'm acting the way I feel comfortable with when with the person(s).

It's been a week since I've left DBS. Last day at DBS was so busy. I have to clear whatever I have, helping my supervisor with some last min stuffs. Besides that, Gina, Lynette, Cindy & I were going round the company to distribute some snacks since it was our last day of work. We spent at least 2 hrs doing so. Walk round, distribute, talk talk, take photos.

After distributing, quickly went back to finish up my work so that I could rush to Sentosa Chalet in time too to meet jy, hm, dear, tobs, qj & wh. Having bbq that night. Took the sentosa express for the 1st time. By the time I reached Sentosa, I was exhausted coz of all the rushing thruout the day. And I think I was kinda cranky (as according to dear) coz I couldnt find dear at the beach station & I kept sort of shouting in the phone. But i wasnt shouting.. Nvm.. no big deal anyway. Went out to walk after the bbq, supposed to take pics but failed. In the end, we played a round of "Pepsi Cola" & "Hopscotch". I believed the 6 of us who didnt noe how to play Hopscotch initially know very well how to play it le. Checked out of the chalet at abt 8plus the next day. Dear supposed to have breakfast with me only but in the end, having lunch too & stayed up till 3plus pm.

After dear left & another half hr of my nap, I left home for Fucai's 21st bdae bbq at East Coast. Met Diana, Valentia, Fiona & Puishan at Bedok. Waited taxi for half an hr. Sorry fiona & val for abandoning you gals. By the time we reached there, Terence, Kevin, Thiam Hock, Irene, Wanlin & our batch guys were there le. When Diana & I juz stepped in without Huiying, Terence (or either of the other 2 guys) were saying "SHE 来了." Haha.. But infact no lor. S & E were there but not H. Lolx. Alrite, so we spent time talking with the girls, cutting the cake (or rather 剪蛋糕 as according to Fc). haha.. Just like what Terence said, We were kinda bad la. Coz we made Fucai drink, he became drunk, we laughed at him, he vomited, help him clean up & we left the chalet le. Before I forget, I wanna mention something. Think it's the 1st time I see fc talk so softly & sweetly. That's how he talked to his gf. The next moment to us is like......(u guys noe la).

Shared a cab with Diana & Huiying home. The taxi driver immediately asked us, "you all drank izzit?" He could smell it out. Did we really drink that much? And ya, I kenna scolded by dear also for drinking. Sorry...

Watched Transformer on Tuesday. It was good. Been quite some time I've watched such an enjoyable movie. It was packed.

Just had international buffet dinner with my family & dear at Meritus Mandarin. Usual price is about $70. But my dad has 50% discount. Don't go if you dont have discount. Not worth. Not much of variety too. But the food are fresh though. They have a band going to table to table, playing & singing songs for you. Is kinda of weird though coz we dunno how to react.
