Watched the 3D version with Jankin & Constance at Lido. My 1st time watching a 3D movie, pretty awesome just that with the 3D glasses on, it wasn't that comfortable. It was a hilarious movie, love the parts on pregnancy, shouting of pineapples, peaches (all sorts of fruits) to signal for labour, long eye lashes flapping up and down in slow motion like a brush, the silliness of Sid. Ooh and I love the baby Mammoth (Peaches) & the 3 T-Rex babies. So adorable. =) The movie was so amusing that Constance choke while laughing. Haha.
We had our lunch at Shaw since we had our $10 voucher to be used before it expires today at some Japanese restaurant. And it was so cheap cause Constance & I shared a large meal while Jankin ate that same meal alone. Apparently he finished all up and still had "space" for desserts. We went to Takashimaya to buy Cinnamon melts from McDonalds and drinks for our movie. After which, decided to head to Far East Plaza to do some window shopping. Again, bought some snacks and we ended our day.
Anyway I think I'm going broke soon. I've been doing online shopping recently and just this sat, I was like shopping non stop? Let's see. I bought a cardholder from kinokuniya, Confession of Shopaholic DVD (finally owned it. waited for so long), a watch, bath shower from Sasa. And L was suppose to be the one doing his shopping for belt. Anyway my parents saved my life for that evening cause I was wearing my new sandals and my ankles hurt like nobody business. Both ankles had cuts, can't walk properly. So glad they went to Suntec for dinner if not I'll be like dragging my feet all the way home.
Today my boss asked me to try to translate their book from english to chinese. I was like, "serious?" I told him I'll try but I knew I couldnt do it. I have not written chinese (excluding cards) for 6 years. I don't read chinese story books or newspapers. Anything that is printed in Chinese, I'll just avoid. And so I tried. Translating one sentence is bad enough. My other colleagues had no clue as well. The translations that came out from us were singlish? perhaps only make sense to young children who have just started learning new words. I tried 3 paragraphs and showed boss. I told him, "Just don't faint." He showed other managers. They were laughing. Haha. I don't even know what I'm translating. Finally, he gave me another task to do. Phew. It was just a mistake to let me translate. Totally can't make it. Lolx.
